Mouland first met Charley Hull when she was playing, and helping to review, a course called Nailcote Hall in April 2007.

The Welshman runs a Junior Golf Academy at the par three course and immediately struck up a rapport with Charley as he showed her how to improve her chipping.

As a result, and with Nailcote Hall owner Rick Cressman having asked Charley Hull to join the club, the two are looking to work together more closely in the future.

Mouland should be able to provide Charley a better insight into making the transition from talented junior to scratch player.

After all, he became the youngest ever Boys Amateur Champion when he won the 1976 title aged just 15 years old at Sunningdale.

Born in April 1971, the Welshman has enjoyed one of the longest careers in European Tour history with over 500 tournament appearance over 22 years.

Mouland has four victories to his name on tour, the Car Care Plan International, Dutch Open and Mauritius Open (twice). He has also represented Wales 15 times in the World Cup and Dunhill Cup.

Always recognized for his great short game, Mouland was the number one putter on tour for two years in succession and still hold the record of just 19 putts in a round of tournament golf.
