Charley Hull clinched the biggest gross title in her short career when she won the prestigious Leveret Trophy at Formby Ladies in Liverpool.
In a field packed full of the best lady amateurs, and some pros, from around the UK, the Kettering club champion made a blistering start as she fired six birdies in her opening 11 holes.
Although the 14 year old, who was sixth in the event 12 months ago, dropped a stroke in the closing stretch, a five under par 66 gave her a three shot advantage going into the last round.
With the wind picking up in the afternoon, the 2008 English Girls champion was no less impressive as she carded four more birdies in a level par round of 71.
Hull, who turned 14 a week earlier, finished one shot ahead of English international Charlotte Ellis, who carded two 69 rounds, with Welsh champion Tara Davies a further four shots adrift in third place.
Whilst becomiong one of the youngest champions in the history of the competition, Hull also reached the significant milestone of seeing her handicap drop to scratch for the first time.
