Two days after setting the new course record for the ladies on the championship Dukes course at Woburn GC, Charley came second in the Astor Salver with a total gross score of 139 for the Red and Blue courses at The Berkshire GC. The winner of this Order of Merit event was the English ladies number one, Hannah Burke, with a score of 136.
Rounds of 2 under and four under par means that Charley is now a +2.1 handicap, which should entitle her to play in the pre qualifier for the Ladies Ricoh Open which will also be held at The Berkshire GC. Should she qualify in this event, she will go on to the final qualifier at Hillside a few days before the actual Ricoh Ladies Open at Royal Birkdale.
